Salary Range (Grade B/775): $109,876- $155,953

Responsibilities:

The Senior Director, Program Planning and Analysis assists the Department of Subways (DOS) with decisions related to the development of the signals and power capital program areas. Responsibilities include management of the capital revolving fund, resolution of budget and construction interface, acceptance of project issues with MTA Construction and Development (C&D). The manager oversees the development of an efficient comprehensive in-house track capital program. Additional responsibilities include the annual reimbursable budget exercise of all operating divisions; overseeing the execution of the flexibility analysis; maintaining training needs and updating the Project Status Reports system (PSR).Represent DOS in design and construction review meetings. Coordinate the review/issuance of staff summaries, and AWOs. Assist with the construction closeout process that includes beneficial use and final acceptance. Tracking expenditures comparison reports and ensuring that the projects are executed and closed in a timely manner. The position oversees annual program exercise to contribute to the development of the five-year capital budget plan.

Education and Experience:

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution in public administration, business administration, urban planning, architecture, engineering or a related field. Ten (10) years of related experience, project management experience preferred, and seven (7) years must have been in a managerial or supervisory capacity, or a satisfactory equivalent of education and experience.

Selection Method:

Based on evaluation of education, skills, experience, and interview.

All appointments, with the exception of the Department of Subways employees on MABSTOA payroll, will be made on the NYCT payroll.
