MetroStrat has a need for a JavaScript Full Stack Developer with a Secret Clearance to support a DoD client in Arlington, VA. This is a hybrid position with onsite meeting and presence on an ad hoc basis. Candidates must possess expertise in JavaScript and Asynchronous Programming.

Candidates should be familiar with:

· JavaScript built-in data structures and standard methods

· JavaScript promises, asynch, and await

· JavaScript closures and scope

· Control flow and iteration

· React hooks and state management

Responsibilities

· Develop high-quality, efficient, and scalable web applications using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.

· Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

· Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and performance of the applications.

· Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

· Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development.

Requirements

· Secret clearance

· Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.

· Proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and SQL databases.

· Strong understanding of web development concepts and principles.

· Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

· Experience with DoD Financial Management Applications.

· Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

· Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
