Museum Store Sale and Visitor Services Associate
Part Time Hourly Position at Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, TX. Must have at minimum associate college degree or currently in college. Retail Experience required. Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English). Knowledge of Latinx art required. Must have flexible hours. Weekend availability required. Some weekdays & some special events. $18.00 per hour.
Store Duties: Sales & other retail duties. Previous Retail and Merchandising Experience; Excellent sales ability; Organized, detailed; Ability to work independently;self-motivated; Ability to work as a member of a fast-paced team; Provide exceptional customer service; Greet visitors and customers; Answer and direct incoming calls with courtesy and in a welcoming manner; Manage point-of-sale system.
Visitor Services: Greet visitors, inform of about museum, events, and other services. PC skills: Point of Sales, excel, word-processing. – will train.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
