Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team at a popular restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, managing our point-of-sale system, and ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests, handling all aspects of their visit from check-in to check-out
- Manage reservations, seating, and table assignments
- Operate our POS system, accurately processing orders and handling payments
- Provide attentive and knowledgeable customer service, addressing any guest needs or concerns
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the host stand and surrounding spaces
- Collaborate with the kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service
- Handle cash and credit transactions, operating our cash register and balancing the till
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and handle incoming calls and messages with professionalism
- Develop strong relationships with guests, providing personalized service and recommendations
- Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring that every guest leaves with a positive impression

Requirements:
- Prior experience as a host or cashier in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting
- Proficiency with our Aloha POS system or willingness to learn
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences
- A genuine interest in hospitality and a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Familiarity with hotel or restaurant operations, including guest relations and front-desk procedures

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
