MFI is Hiring an Installation Coordinator/Ops Near Tacoma, WA

MFI is a busy and growing multi-family flooring company based out of Kent, WA. We are seeking an Installation Coordinator to join our team in our Seattle Metro market. This is an office-based position where you will be working with a team coordinating the flooring installation process from beginning to end.

Job Description: Full-Time Installation Coordinator (Multi-Family Flooring Company)

Role Overview:

The Installation Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our multi-family flooring operations. They will be responsible for coordinating and communicating with installers, sales representatives, and other team members to facilitate the completion of installations, maintain quality standards, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Communication and Coordination:

    • Answer Installer and Sales Reps Calls: Respond promptly to phone, email and texts with our installers and sales reps.

    • Problem-solving: Assist in resolving job access and job-related issues, ensuring timely solutions.

    • Effective Communication: Maintain clear and concise communication in person and over the phone. Communicate and guide installers in the field to ensure a quality installation. Process new orders and answer customer calls.

  2. Job Documentation:

    • Job Notes: Take accurate and detailed notes related to each job. Add relevant information to job records, ensuring accurate documentation and notifying sales reps and installers of all pertinent information.

  3. Language Skills:

    • Bilingual: Proficient in both English and Spanish is a must.
  4. Computer Proficiency:

    • Good Computer Skills: Comfortable using computer software and tools for job tracking, communication, and data management. We will train you in our systems.
  5. Flooring Industry Knowledge:

    • Desirable: Familiarity with the flooring industry or installation processes is helpful (although not mandatory, we will train you).

  6. Task Management:

    • Multi-Tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality.

    • Job Scheduling: Assist in scheduling jobs efficiently, considering installer skills and ability.
  7. Subcontractor Compliance:

    • Document Management: Maintain accurate records of subcontractor documents. Keep track of subcontractors’ compliance with state licensing requirements, Bonds and Insurance.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications are a plus).
