THE JOB
It is the primary responsibility of the Butler to provide guests with full service during their stay and assist with any special requests.
STARTING PAY RATE: $21 plus cash tips plus credit card gratuity
THE DAY-TO-DAY

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
• Guide guests through all phases of their experience
• Exhibit proper knowledge and service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages as well as menu items of every course
• Follow sequence of service utilizing all proper procedures standardized by management
• Item bills correctly
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations, tables and POS stations
• Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
• Work as a team and assist all guests' and employees' needs and inquiries

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 1 Years of Prior Relevant Experience As a server in a fine dining establishment or butler

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STANDOUT

• 5 Years of Prior Relevant Experience as a server in a fine dining establishment OR 5 years as a Butler
• Supervisory or managerial experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Knowledge of menu items, including characteristics of wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, terminology, and garnishes
• Knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations
• Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and supplies, including, but not limited to toasters, refrigerators, and coolers, slicers and beverage machines
• Able to provide butler services including but not limited to care of male and female wardrobe
• Ability to work under pressure
• Basic knowledge of Point of Sale system and computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine
• Effective listening abilities with strong judgment skills
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
