MGR Workforce is Hiring a Laborer Near Piedmont, SC
Job Summary :
As a Construction Laborer, you will work on a construction site, assisting skilled tradespeople and performing a wide range of tasks to support the completion of construction projects.
Your responsibilities will include manual labor, and ensuring worksite is safe and clean.
START DATE - THIS JOB STARTS JUNE 17th, 2024 AND CAN RUN ANYWHERE FROM 4 TO 18 MONTHS
Location : Piedmont, SC
Salary : $18 Per Hour
Hours : 830am to 5pm ( Monday Friday)
Responsibilities :
Perform physical tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including clearing debris and waste.
Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
Transport materials and equipment as needed around the worksite.
Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with their tasks.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
Report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.
Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred.
Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
Physical Demands :
Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more).
Stamina to perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Work Environment :
Construction sites can be noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous.
You will be exposed to various weather conditions and must be prepared to work outdoors.

Pay Rate : 18.00 - 18.00
