Job Summary
We are seeking an Early Childhood professional to join our team. This individual will plan and present developmentally appropriate activities to young children and creating an emotionally safe and nurturing learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the Creative Curriculum
- Support schedules and routines that ensure adequate physical activity, rest and play time
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote a positive learning atmosphere
- Participate in staff meeting and on-going trainings
Qualifications
- 9 College credits in Early Childhood Education
- Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage young children
- Familiarity with assessment procedures is a plus
- CPR and 1st Aid and/or Bilingual a plus
