Summary: The Registered Nurse facilitates relationship-centered, compassionate, quality care to patients through competent clinical practice and the application of the healing art and science of professional nursing. Instruct patients about at-home prep for endoscopy procedures. As part of the procedural team you will be assisting the physician during various endoscopy procedures. Provide nurse sedation during a procedure. Post-operative management and discharge of patients in the endoscopy unit Clean endoscopes according to manufacturer instructions. What you will need: Graduation from an accredited Nursing school and program Associates Degree in Nursing required, BSN preferred. In Grand Rapids if ADN must enroll in BSN program within 6 months of hire and complete in 4 years of hire Licensed in the State of Michigan Current BLS One year of RN experience in a health care setting.
