Milgard Windows and Doors is looking for a highly skilled production assembler with experience in building Shapes and Radius Vinyl Windows. You must be able to perform tasks as assigned in the construction of windows in our shapes department. In addition to meeting departmental manufacturing goals, safety, accuracy, and efficiency are key elements to your performance. The base starting rate is $26 per hour depending on experience. This position is on our day shift (Monday - Friday) and starts at 5:00 AM. Typical work week is up to 55 hours per week depending on the time of year. Milgard Windows and Doors is the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in the western United States with operations in Washington, Oregon, and California.

Production job responsibilities include:

• Supporting department production goals daily.
• Use of the standard work process.
• Team Collaboration.
• Operating machinery and use of hand tools. This includes cutting, shaping, and assembling vinyl components. (Tasks may involve using saws, welders, and other specialized equipment.)
• Attention to detail to ensure precise fit and alignment.
• Focus on quality and timely delivery of completed tasks to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Adhering to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of experience in building radius and shapes vinyl windows.
• Mechanical aptitude including ability to read a tape measure
• Experience with hand and power tools.
• Able to compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition/subtraction
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
