Activity Center Coordinator influences customer satisfaction by greeting the patients in a courteous manner and assists with any questions or concerns that they may have. This position requires a high commitment to service excellence and enables communication in and throughout the office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Greets all patients upon arrival at the center, ensure the lobby area has coffee and any other necessary items.
Provides patients with accurate practice information. (e.g., office hours, address, etc.)
Screens all incoming calls and ensures they are routed to the appropriate personnel/department promptly.
Works primarily on the floor, in the member areas and throughout the center and seeks out service members.
Answers quickly to members’ questions or problems regarding center activities and services.
Ensures that members are satisfied with the service and if not, inquire why to resolve dissatisfaction.
Ensures patients’ needs and expectations are met.
Maintain work area clean and always organized.
Complies with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) regulations.
Organizes and promotes activity center event calendar.
Coordinates promotional events for the center in unison with the supervisor.
Provides management with a list of all event attendants.
Coordinates and performs ongoing activities with patients (e.g., games like bingo, domino, monthly birthdays, holidays events, other miscellaneous activities, etc.)
Decorates event room or area according to the event theme.
Coordinates transportation for the patients attending activities.
Provides management with a list of supplies needed for any event.
Provides management with pictures of all events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
