Preferred ResponsibilitiesEffectively use product knowledge to sell all merchandise and adhere to the customer service program. Six months to one year of cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills are preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.
Operating cash registers.
Achieving individual sales goals.
Directing customers to merchandise within the store.
Increasing in-store sales.
Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.
Adhere to all policies and security procedures.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Very organized and detail-oriented. Able to adapt to a fast-paced, fluid environment while balancing multiple tasks at once. Must be able to lift merchandise, merchandising equipment, and boxes up to 50 pounds.
