BASIC FUNCTIONS: Provide input, training and technical assistance to Family Child Care Providers and partnership centers serving children six weeks through four years of age. Ensures that all FCC homes and partnership centers comply with applicable MVCDC contractual requirements, the Head Start Performance Standards, and licensing requirements. Support developmentally appropriate, high-quality infant/toddler services in FCC homes. Provide or arrange training for providers. Support parents on goal setting in the enrollment and goal setting process and ensuring family outcomes and other case management. Some evenings and weekends required.

MINIMUM CREDENTIALS: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field required. Must have a minimum of one year experience in a position utilizing detailed knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practices for children ages 6 weeks through four years. Previous experience with children in a center and family childcare setting preferred. Knowledge of Department of Job and Family Services’ Rules Regulating Child Care Homes and Head Start Performance Standards preferred.
