Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker

Job Requirements:

• FULL TIME (40 HRS per week)

$18.00 (Per Hour)

• Annual increases

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

• 1st Shift 7:30am-3:30pm (MON-FRI) plus occasional overtime as needed
• Employees must be available and willing to work extra hours/overtime. We work with our employees to provide advance notice on scheduling requirements .

Job Expectations:

• Ability to become certified on warehouse equipment, ie. forklift, electric pallet jack / runner / stock picker- cherry picker
• Commitment to MLCo safety policies, procedures and ability to promote awareness.
• Able to meet minimum efficiency productivity levels able to work rapidly at a constant pace for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to do basic math and process paperwork
• Accurately use forklift, electric pallet runner and stock picker to do the job
• Attend all company meetings
• Other duties may be assigned, ie. Shrink wrap product on loading dock and learn to accurately build pallets/floor loaded containers from bottom up with high quality structure, load and unload trucks
• Ability to work independently of Direct Supervision
• Able to work OT and Holidays (when needed)
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner
• All training provided by MLCo

Physical Requirements:

• Required to work in a warehouse environment ( 75,000sq/non climate controlled)
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, bend for 8 hours
• Requires lifting, 5-50lbs.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6 months of recent warehouse experience required
• 1 year experience operating a forklift, electric pallet jack and/or stock-cherry picker
• Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test)

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) or Equivalent
• 2 years warehouse experience preferred
• 1 year experience operating a forklift, electric pallet jack and/or stock-cherry picker
