Job Description
- Manage the technical aspects of the project; serve as a liaison between the project manager and subcontractors/vendors.
- Identifies and documents changes in scope.
- Ensures client criteria and scope are met by all engineering disciplines.
- Assists in determining the scope of procurement and buy-outs and monitors progress.
- Provides Superintendent's with immediate project assistance to ensure all necessary documentation is completed and submitted properly
- Procure, track and follow up on all critical and long lead material and equipment items.
- Manage, analyze and review the project specifications to ensure compliance with the contract documents in order to complete the submittal process.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related area of study
- 0-2 years of construction experience working on commercial, light industrial or healthcare projects
- Motivated to learn and advance at a fast pace
- Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
- A competitive base salary between $80,000-$90,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Competitive bonus structure, project/profit based. (Typically between $6,000-$8,000 in the first year)
