About Our ClientMy client is a 4th generation family owned business with a variety of divisions servicing a variety of sectors such as, Energy, Water, Waste-water, Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional. They have a high emphasis on company culture and work life balance and are looking to bring on an experienced Civil Superintendent to join their Mechanical Division that focuses on Water/Waste-water. Job DescriptionThe Right Superintendent Will Have:
Oversee all on-site activities for heavy industrial and wastewater projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
Team Supervision: Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and equipment operators, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the job site to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
Quality Control: Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Resource Management: Manage and allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, project managers, and other stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders.
Inspection Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate inspections by regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Bachelor's engineering degree or equivalent
Extensive (10 or more years) experience
Must have a working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical civil and building practices and concepts
Superior organization skills, ability to make independent decisions and multi-task
CSL or willingness to obtain within one year of hire date
Valid unrestricted Driver's License
OSHA 30
