Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join this dynamic team in Manchester, NH. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing advanced analytical techniques to enhance their security solutions. You will work closely with their research-oriented group on multiple concurrent projects aimed at mitigating cyber risks and protecting assets.
Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize your expertise in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis to extract valuable insights from complex datasets.
• Employ advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling techniques to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions that address specific security challenges.
• Develop and maintain data visualization tools using Tableau to communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
• Leverage your proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, SAS, pytorch, pandas, etc., to build scalable and efficient data pipelines.
• Continuously evaluate and refine existing algorithms and models to ensure optimal performance in real-world scenarios.

The Successful Applicant

Key Skills Required for this Data Scientist:

• 3 or more years of proven experience in data science, preferably in a security-related domain.
• Strong proficiency in data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis.
• Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java/Python, SAS, pytorch, pandas, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, research-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
