About Our ClientWe are partnered up with a Medium Sized Manufacturing client in their search to bring on an additional EHS Specialist - Manufacturing due to growth within the company! This position will report into the EHS Manager and will help oversee the site. The ideal candidate will have 1 years of experience within a Manufacturing setting. Job DescriptionThe Environmental Health and Safety Specialist - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
  • Planning health and safety program and protocols
  • Teaching all employees in the company about health and safety standards
  • Presenting safety training sessions to the company
  • Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations
  • Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
  • Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols
  • Analyzing health and safety data
  • Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities

  • Bachelor of Science in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field

  • Understanding of OSHA federal and state regulations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
What's on OfferThe successful Environmental, Health, & Safety Specialist - Manufacturing will be rewarded with the following:
  • Base Salary of $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience
