Job DescriptionThe Environmental Health and Safety Specialist - Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:
- Planning health and safety program and protocols
- Teaching all employees in the company about health and safety standards
- Presenting safety training sessions to the company
- Ensuring compliance with OSHA, federal and state regulations
- Handling risk assessments to gather information on safety issues
- Verifying that employees consistently follow safety protocols
- Analyzing health and safety data
- Reviewing and recommending changes to regular activities
- Bachelor of Science in Safety, Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Ideally 1 years of experience within a Manufacturing setting
- Understanding of OSHA federal and state regulations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Base Salary of $65,000-$85,000 depending on experience
