Job DescriptionJob Description for the Construction Estimator
- Review plans and specifications to define proposal requirements
- Attend jobsite visits to determine project requirements
- Prepare solicitation of subcontractors and suppliers for bid proposals
- Prepare quantity takeoffs
- Receive and review subcontractor and supplier proposals
- Prepare and share detailed estimates with the team. Revise as necessary
- Work directly with clients to define project requirements
- Experience in architecture or commercial construction
- Experience with software including Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, On-Screen Takeoff, Asta Powerproject, or Agtek is preferred
- Construction management degree or similar
