The Finance Manager will work with a portfolio of operating companies within the business to be the Finance liaison working with both external service providers and internal stakeholders. You will own the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to offer strategic financial insight into business decisions such as business expansion opportunities, cost saving initiatives, process improvement initiatives, and more as the business continues to grow! Ownership of the preparation of budgets, forecasts, financial planning, and variance analysis of performance of current businesses.
Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the performance of renewable energy projects and assess investment opportunities.
Collect, analyze, and consolidate financial data making recommendations to improve financial performance.
Identify and assess financial risks associated with renewable energy projects, such as market risks, regulatory risks, and project-specific risks.
Conduct financial due diligence and investment analysis to assess the viability and potential returns of renewable energy investments.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and implement measures to manage financial risks effectively.
Manage cash flow and liquidity for the renewable energy portfolio, ensuring adequate funding for project development, operations, and debt service.
Optimize working capital and cash flow to maximize financial efficiency and minimize financing costs.
Present financial status for monthly, quarterly, and annual meeting with Senior Leaders during business reviews.
Work closely with Accounting, Treasury, Asset Management, and Project Management teams to ensure maintenance of project budgets, forecasts and actuals reporting.

8 years Finance experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Renewable/Energy industry experience is required
Open to traveling domestically up to 15% of the time
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and various analysis (variance, profitability, etc.)
Ability to present financial analysis and make financial recommendations to Senior Leadership
Impeccable attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high-profile projects
Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting/filtering, conditional formatting, etc.
