Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the general ledger and sub ledgers
Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial analyses
Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
Coordinate or assist with the budget and forecast process to support financial planning
Effectively prepare reporting packages for Board meeting decks
Assist and support in the implementation of Transfer Pricing strategies
Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Handle month-end closing and reporting processes
Analyze and report cost variances to provide insights into financial performance
Serve as a liaison to external auditors to facilitate audits and ensure regulatory compliance
Research, prepare, and execute Accounting Department initiatives such as software and systems implementation and other departmental or firm-wide improvements, as required
Respond to financial-related questions from employees and provide necessary support
Prepare and consolidate financial statements and reports

CPA preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Related field
8 - 10 years within the manufacturing sector (accounting or audit)
Understanding GAAP and firm accounting policies and procedure
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
Consolidated financial statements track record essential
