About Our ClientOur client is a Food and Beverage Organization, looking to add a hands on and motivated Human Resources professional to join their team as an HR Generalist in their New York office.
Job Description
  • Manage the HRIS System Managing and documenting all personnel changes in system.
  • Assisting employees with HRIS (login's, password reset, training).
  • Set up new positions, position families.
  • Manage benefit profiles within HRIS.
  • Create and send imports.
  • Run ad hoc reports.
  • Point person for Benefits.
  • Manages Enrollment/Termination of Benefits, providing forms and documentation to eligible full-time employees for health benefits.
  • Enforce company policies and practices:
  • Reviewing termination requests.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Oversee and assist with recruitment.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
  • 2-3 years of experience working in the Human Resources field.
  • Food and beverage experience is a plus.
