Job DescriptionThe Maintenance Manager will report directly into the General Manager and be responsible for:
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
- Coordinate with production managers to plan and execute maintenance activities without disrupting production schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high standards of equipment performance and safety.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and servicing of machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Maintenance preferred
- 7 years of maintenance experience within industrial manufacturing
- Management or supervisory experience is preferred
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
