Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Engineer, Thermal Processing will report directly into the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
Work closely with maintenance and operations teams to ensure thermal processing equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently.
Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. Implement solutions based on data-driven insights.
Collaborate with product development teams to design and validate thermal processing solutions for new and existing products.
Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives related to thermal processing, including energy optimization, waste reduction, and overall process efficiency.
Ensure all thermal processes meet required quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Work closely with teams across engineering, production, and R&D to ensure seamless integration of thermal processes into broader manufacturing operations.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Materials Science, Chemical, or Ceramic Engineering
3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on thermal processing
Experience with thermal processing equipment such as furnaces, ovens, and kilns.
Proficiency in CAD software for process design and simulation
Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
