Job Description
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for the entire plant operation, overseeing all aspects of production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management.
- Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to meet operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
- Implement and maintain strict quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Drive process improvements and optimization initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall plant performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production schedules.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders, and proactively address any production-related issues or concerns.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing regular updates on plant performance, risks, and opportunities.
- 5 Years supervising experience
- Familiarity with Injection Molding and the related manufacturing process
- Knowledge of LEAN/Six Sigma Practices
- Ability to effectively communicate deliverables and outcomes
- Degree in an Engineering Discipline
- Base Salary of $70,000 to $82,000
