Description
The main responsibilities for the Manufacturing Supervisor include, but are not limited to :
- Oversee all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality, safety, maintenance, and personnel management. Provide strategic leadership and direction to the entire operation.
- Develop and implement production plans, budgets, and strategies to meet operational targets, including production volumes, cost control, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of production leads, operators, and support staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and safety.
- Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and industry standards.
- Drive initiatives for process improvements and optimization to increase operational efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall plant performance.
- Work closely with procurement, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to production schedules.
Profile
The successful Manufacturing Supervisor will have the following qualifications :
- Must have manufacturing experience, preferably experience with injection molding
- Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge production processes (lean, six sigma, DFT).
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
- Proven track record of continuous improvement / cost savings projects.
- Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus.
