About Our ClientTMy client is a leader is industrial manufacturing of large scale machinery. This machinery is used in highly technical and advanced applications in the US government.
Job DescriptionReporting directly into the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Designing and analyzing mechanical systems, machinery and equipment using CAD software and other tools.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Electrical Engineers, Designers, and Technicians to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
  • Performing engineering calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate design concepts and optimize performance.
  • Developing and testing prototypes to evaluate design concepts and ensure compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
  • Providing technical support during the manufacturing, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering within an industrial manufacturing environment, with a focus on large machinery or equipment.
  • CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and other engineering tools for design and analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulation tools is desirable.
