Job DescriptionThe Director position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in commercial properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the commercial real estate market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.
- Market Analysis and Research:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential investment opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and property-specific data to inform investment decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and other industry professionals.
- Investment Strategy:
- Develop and implement acquisition strategies that align with the company's investment objectives.
- Evaluate potential investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence.
- Present investment opportunities and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
- Transaction Management:
- Lead negotiations and structure deals for property acquisitions.
- Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
- Oversee the due diligence process, including site inspections, financial modeling, and contract reviews.
- Portfolio Management:
- Monitor and manage the performance of acquired properties.
- Develop and implement value-add strategies to enhance the portfolio's performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance to senior management.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the acquisitions team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, valuation techniques, and investment strategies.
- Proven track record of successfully closing complex real estate transactions.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and real estate analysis software.
