Job DescriptionThe Director position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities in commercial properties. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the commercial real estate market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.
  • Market Analysis and Research:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential investment opportunities.
    • Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and property-specific data to inform investment decisions.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, property owners, and other industry professionals.
  • Investment Strategy:
    • Develop and implement acquisition strategies that align with the company's investment objectives.
    • Evaluate potential investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and due diligence.
    • Present investment opportunities and strategies to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Transaction Management:
    • Lead negotiations and structure deals for property acquisitions.
    • Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure successful transaction execution.
    • Oversee the due diligence process, including site inspections, financial modeling, and contract reviews.
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Monitor and manage the performance of acquired properties.
    • Develop and implement value-add strategies to enhance the portfolio's performance.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance to senior management.
  • Leadership and Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the acquisitions team, providing guidance and support for professional development.
    • Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate acquisitions, investment, or related roles.
    • Strong understanding of commercial real estate markets, valuation techniques, and investment strategies.
    • Proven track record of successfully closing complex real estate transactions.
    • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and real estate analysis software.
