About Our ClientOur client is a leading aerospace component manufacturer based Central Connecticut, specialising in innovative solutions within the capital equipment and engineered products sector. With a commitment to excellence and cutting-edge technologies they manufacturing test equipment for the aerospace sector - specialised in Fuel, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, Electro-Mechanical, Engine Oil, and Electrical within Aviation.
Job Description
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Manage a rolodex of existing / key accounts for a long standing and established company.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within new and existing accounts, leveraging industry knowledge and market insights.
  • Stay up to date within the Aerospace & Defense industry, keeping pace with market trends.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing customized solutions.
  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve individual and collective sales targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manage and log all sales activity with CRM system.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience within Aerospace & Defense, with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous experience in capital equipment and engineered products is required.
  • Experience in aircraft component test equipment is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and accomplish sales initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed.

  • Competitive base salary - $120,000-140,000k base (no bonus but good benefits)
