Project Planning and Scheduling
Develop detailed project plans outlining phases, tasks, timelines, and resources.
Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize project specifications.
Team Coordination
Lead project teams, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and address issues.
Quality Control
Ensure that construction activities comply with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
Address any issues related to construction quality and implement corrective actions.
Risk Management
Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle and adjust plans as necessary.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and senior management.
Ensure proper documentation of any changes or deviations from the original project plan.
Client Liaison
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Provide regular updates to clients on project status and milestones.
Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Problem Solving and Decision Making
Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project.
Make critical decisions to keep the project on track.
Implement innovative solutions to overcome project challenges.
Health and Safety Management
Develop and enforce health and safety plans and protocols.
Ensure all team members and contractors adhere to safety guidelines.
Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Post-Construction Activities
Oversee the project close-out process, including final inspections and punch list completion.
Ensure the handover of completed projects to clients with all necessary documentation.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned.

5-10 years as a construction project manager
Experience with the development and construction of multifamily communities
Experience with site work including grading, excavation, installation of utilities, etc
Degree in construction management or related field preferred
Ability to travel 2 days per week to project sites across the southeast
Construction experience within the state of Florida preferred

Base salary $110,000-$155,000 depending on experience
