Project manager for a general contracting firm, headquartered in St. Louis. In this position you'll be collaborating with the estimating and preconstruction teams to put together bid packages. Once projects have started you'll be responsible for managing the entire construction process through punch list and closing.

Description

• Responsible for all project operations while working closely with owners and internal/external project teams
• Plans and coordinates project activities inline company polices and procedures
• Lead the ground-up construction projects
• Creates and reviews project schedules
• Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
• Direct the support staff and coordinate with field crews and superintendents to ensure project delivery
• Establishes and fosters relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
• Responsible for forecasting and estimating costs and changes to costs for project completion
• Assist in hiring and mentoring new employees
• Travel a few days per month

Profile

• At least 3 years of experience with a general contractor
• Bachelor's Degree in construction related field required
• Experience in ground up industrial, multifamily, and/or commercial office space
• Organized and communicative
• Experience leading ground-up projects $20M
• Experience in design/build
• Estimating experience is a plus
• Procore software
