Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve product/service quality and operational efficiency.
Analyze data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and present quality control reports and metrics to senior management.
Managing the daily activity of quality staff including lead persons, auditors, label personnel and clerical positions.
Maintain SPC (statistical process control) as a working tool in the plant
Ensure that all federal and local UN, DOT, EPA and FDA regulations are being conformed to and that reporting is being kept up to date.
Assist the plant manager with any issues regarding quality investigation or quality reporting
Develop and implement the ISO conforming quality and documentation system.

3-5 years of quality management experience
Strong background in plastic injection molding
BRC packaging and packaging material implementation experience is a plus
Background in measuring process using SPC
Lead auditor certification in the BRC standards OR strong audit experience
Experience in cost reduction, production efficiency improvements and continuous improvement activities
Responsible for ensuring the compliance of Food Product Safety and meet the expectations of our customers.
