About Our ClientMy client is a quickly growing general contractor specializing in negotiated retail construction projects. Their team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our clients and maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism. The company prides itself on their ability to complete projects on time and within budget, while providing outstanding customer service. With over $100 million in annual revenue expected next year, they are beginning to break into doing multifamily and hospitality projects, and are seeking an experienced and ambitious Retail Project Manager to join our team.

Job DescriptionResponsibilities of the Project Manager:
  • Manage multiple negotiated retail construction projects simultaneously
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and other project documentation
  • Communicate regularly with clients, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure project success
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting on project financials
  • Lead project team meetings and coordinate project activities with other departments within the company
  • Assist in the planning and execution of multifamily and hospitality projects as needed

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, with a focus on negotiated retail construction projects
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget forecasting, tracking, and reporting
  • Experience using project management software and tools
  • Ambitious and driven, with a passion for achieving exceptional results
  • Familiarity with multifamily and hospitality projects a plus
