Job DescriptionSenior Accountant Responsibilities:
- Coordinate month-end and year-end closing procedures and perform necessary accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings.
- Monitor cash flow, including cash inflows and outflows, and manage working capital. Make recommendations for cash flow optimization and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of financial transactions. Review and reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial record
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3 years of experience in Accounting
- CPG or distribution industry experience a plus
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, SOX, and other regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytic, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Key attention to detail
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
