About Our ClientI am currently partnered with the Director of Finance at a Fortune 500 company that is actively seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team! With a strong commitment to sustainability and a focus on improving operational efficiency for its customers, this organization has established itself as a leading partner for businesses and institutions worldwide!
This individual will be a pivotal contributor to the monthly budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting process, while partnering cross-functionally on cost saving, gross margin and pricing initiatives, and operational strategies by identifying variances, drivers, and trends to assess the financial performance of the division!
Job Description
  • Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of the company's financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. Collaborate with various departments to gather data and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial projections.
    • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to provide insights into the company's financial performance and help identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare and present financial performance reports to management and stakeholders. These reports may include key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and other relevant analyses.
    • Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Identify and explain variances, and work with department heads to address budget deviations.
    • Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and other business initiatives.
    • Analyze costs, expenses, and revenue trends to identify areas for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
    • Identify cost drivers, variances, and trends by analyzing cost data to support decision-making processes.
    • Provide financial support cross-functionally on contract negotiation and management, rebate analysis, profit management, and pricing strategy execution,

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 3 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Commercial Finance
    • MBA a plus
    • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software systems
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in financial records and reporting
    • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional team
