Job DescriptionThe Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for lead generation, customer support, quoting, order closing, as well as post-sales support cross-functionally with internal teams as well as with the customerThis role is expected to develop and execute upon a sales plan to identify, evaluate, and capture new business across the territory and develop and grow business at existing accountsProfessionally present product catalogs to technical and non-technical groupsBusiness development by generating new sales leads and opportunities for the given line of productsUnderstand customer's industry, application, process and equipment needsGenerate swift, detailed and accurate equipment quotations for customer's applicationsFollow up on outstanding opportunities, inquiries and quotationsWin and close orders by overcoming various barriers with proactive communication and sales strategiesMaintain a robust opportunity pipeline with past and new accounts and executes plans to follow up and generate new salesMaintain significant interaction with all functional groups (Engineering, Operations, Customer Service, Finance and Sales) to support various sales activitiesWork closely with Customer Service partner on live quotes, RFQs, order status inquires, and other customer-focused deliverablesAnalyze industrial heat treatment trends and competition within assigned territory to develop strategies for new sales opportunitiesDevelop productive working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels within a customer's organizationDiligent on supporting customers through design/purchase cycles as well as post-sales supportCalls, emails and visits with design engineers, buyers or other professional and technical personnelSynthesize and present product and service recommendations to Grieve managementTravel 60%, 100% on-site when not travelingPerform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be requiredMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
