Job Summary:

We are seeking a mechanical engineer with a growth mindset and superior interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is eager to grow in their career to become an industry leader. Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine code review and analysis.
  • Performs routine design calculations and sizes standard equipment.
  • Follows design standards set by the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
  • Researches and presents equipment and design options to the Project Manager, Lead Engineer, and Engineer of Record.
  • Follows company master design standards.
  • Ensures that the QA/QC process is followed and documented.
  • Develops a working knowledge of all system types within their discipline.
  • Develops knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
  • Directs less experienced technical staff in how to perform routine design tasks and routine calculations.
  • Trains EIT’s and designers how to perform routine calculations and system layouts.
  • Creates project specific details, schematics, and sketches.
  • Assembles specifications, including project specific information.

Requirements

You Will Need to Have:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited university or college
  • At least 4 years of related building systems design experience
  • Proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD
  • Microsoft Office Suite of products experience

We Prefer that You Have:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification
