As a Shop Mechanic, your key responsibilities will be to perform basic tasks in repairing and maintaining vehicles and construction equipment. Critical for success is the ability to work independently and, on a team, as well as communicate effectively.

What it takes:

  • 0-2 years of experience working on pickup trucks (Ford preferred), heavy trucks, construction or utility related equipment, and trailers
  • Able to provide own basic hand tools
  • Diesel Mechanic Program completion (desired)
  • Ability to weld (desired)
  • Ability to move / operate equipment
  • The ability to frequently lift, push, pull and/or move 50 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
