Secondary Science Teacher

Bronson Jr/Sr High School

Qualifications:

  • Possess or be eligible for a valid Michigan teaching certificate
  • Minimum of BS/BA degree in Education; DI and/or DC Preferred
  • Meet highly qualified requirements as a secondary science teacher
  • Able to assess and document student progress
  • Professional in personal conduct and actions
  • Excellent communication skills

Duties:

  • Provide instruction to school children
  • Provide and maintain an orderly classroom environment
  • Monitor and document student progress through Skyward student management program
  • Work independently and cooperatively in the teaching mode using a variety of instructional strategies
  • Ability to plan and organize; good work habits
  • Willing to attend conferences and participate in professional development
  • Successful teaching/coaching of students preferred
  • Perform other duties as assigned by administration
  • Other qualifications as required by the Bronson Board of Education
