Medical Claims Representative Trainee Objective
To provide efficient investigation, evaluation and negotiation of Michigan claims.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Medical Claims Representative Trainee Responsibilities
Respond to and control the disposition of all assigned Michigan claims.
Work with computer systems keying functions, including but not limited to letter composition, log entry, dairy entry, report of investigation composition and draft production.
Identify rehabilitation needs and coordinate claim handling with Rehabilitation Specialist.
Conduct a regular claim file review.
Identify claims requiring field claim representative involvement and work with branch claim
field staff to accomplish file stabilization
Medical Claims Representative Trainee Qualifications
Required :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior experience in an insurance, medical and/or customer service related field required.
Must possess a valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred :
Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred.
Designation in claims insurance preferred.
