Job Posting for High School ELA Instructor

Candidates must meet the following requirements :

• Must meet all criteria to be Highly Qualified by Michigan Highly Qualified Standards.
• Have a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate English(BA) / Language Arts(BX)preferred.
• Have a valid Michigan Administrative Certificate.
• Demonstrate enthusiasm and expertise in working with students, staff and stakeholders.
• Must be able to work with a diverse group of students, staff and stakeholders.
• Minimum of one year of teaching experience in High School grades is preferred.
• Willingness to learn from and collaborate with other professional educators to gain insight in a variety of teaching and learning methodologies in working with a diverse student body.
• Willing to serve on Building and District committees.
• Must be able to read, understand, and interpret standardized test scores.
• Must be willing and able to do a wide variety of assigned duties to run an efficient and effective school.
