Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain tools, dies, and fixtures according to engineering specifications
- Operate various machinery and equipment, such as milling machines, grinders, and lathes, to shape and finish tooling components
- Inspect finished tooling to ensure accuracy and functionality
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with tooling, and make necessary repairs and adjustments
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tooling designs and optimize production processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Die Maker
- Proficiency in operating various machinery and equipment, including milling machines, grinders, and lathes
- Strong knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
