Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Laboratory Electrical Technician Admin Assistant. You'll manage vital administrative tasks, ensuring precision in calibration certificates and data entry. You'll also gain hands-on experience calibrating electrical equipment and support inventory management and customer service. Join us to blend administrative expertise with technical skills, driving excellence in metrology. This role involves providing vital support to our calibration technicians, ensuring smooth operations within the laboratory, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Issue and review calibration certificates for technicians.
• Handle data entry tasks efficiently.
• Monitor orders and notify customer service of any backorders.
• Prepare gages for delivery, including packaging or dip sealing.
• Perform general office duties to maintain organization.
• Aid in inventory management and control.
• Collaborate with team to enhance workflow.
• Provide admin support for calibration team.
• Assist in electrical equipment calibration and testing, under supervision.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and orderliness.
• Help prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Other duties assigned.

All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.

Requirements and Skills:

• 2-3 years of continuous prior employment required.
• Proven Electrical or RF experience required through school or work required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Typing speed of 40 words per minute.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8- hour shifts

Pay: $18- $28/ hour DOE
