Position Overview:
Are you a detail-oriented pro with a knack for precision? We’re looking for Physical/Dimensional Calibration Technicians who are ready to ensure our clients' measurement instruments are always spot-on. As a Calibration Technician, you’ll be a key player in maintaining the accuracy and reliability that our clients depend on. Bring your keen eye, superb organizational skills, and top-tier communication abilities to our team!

Responsibilities:

• Calibrate primary, secondary, and/or working standards with finesse.
• Generate detailed calibration reports and certificates, maintaining accurate records in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of calibration equipment to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop calibration procedures for new or specialized equipment.
• Provide expert technical guidance and support to colleagues, clients, and during visits or audits.
• Ensure efficient equipment operation, troubleshooting, and calibration while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of precision equipment.
• Assist in managing calibration standards, tools, and equipment.
• Participate in quality control, internal audits, and continuous improvement in calibration processes.
• Take on exciting projects to enhance efficiency, expand services, or address customer needs within set timelines.
• Engage in training to expand your skills beyond physical/dimensional calibration, supporting our multi-disciplinary services.

All calibration is performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.

Requirements and Skills:

• Calibration training with Torque and Pressure Gauge is required.
• Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training preferred.
• Experience in calibration and working with precision measurement equipment.
• Proven experience working under ISO 17025 is a strong plus.
• Local travel may be required to perform on-site calibration at customer facilities.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing error-free work.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Outstanding organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts

Pay: $22-$55/hour DOE
