What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Generalist position at Microsembly?
We're seeking an experienced HR Generalist to manage all human resources functions for our growing company. You will be responsible for payroll, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and HR policies.
Responsibilities:
· Process weekly payroll through Paycor, including time tracking and tax compliance.
· Research, evaluate and select company benefits, insurance plans and benefits packages.
· Coordinate training and development programs.
· Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
· Handle employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
· Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
· Oversee performance review process and support managers on employee coaching and feedback.
· Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
· Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
· 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
· Proficiency with Paycor or similar HRIS/payroll systems
· Strong knowledge of employment and compensation laws and HR best practices
· Experience with benefits administration and insurance selection.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
· PHR/SHRM-CP certification preferred.
