Microsoft Corporation has the following job opportunity:

Leverage reports, dashboards, tabular models and analytical insights to drive business success. Apply customer and competitor insights to create business plans, explore new business opportunities, and facilitate product launch. Research market conditions and gather information to determine potential sales of Microsoft’s products or services. Gather information on competitors, prices, sales, and methods of marketing and distribution. Analyze consumer needs, synthesize competitive information, identify growth opportunities, and create marketing campaigns. Evaluate market potential and return on investment (ROI) of key programs to help determine areas of potential investment or divestment. Develop an understanding of Microsoft’s product portfolio to analyze strategic priorities, competitive position, gaps, and potential opportunities. Support and review product roadmap, go-to-market, integration, and related plans to ensure effective marketing campaigns. Requires domestic and international travel up to 25%. Telecommuting permitted less than 50%/week within same geographic location as assigned Microsoft office location.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Master's or foreign equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: 24 months of experience in software related product marketing, program management, and developing market strategy.
• Education or Experience in: Define product value proposition and framework for segmentation, targeting and positioning for enterprise software or technology products; Develop go-to-market strategies; Analyze and visualize quantitative data; Apply marketing and strategy models to solve business challenges; Determine market size for products/services; Conducting industry and competitive analysis; and Develop integrated marketing communication strategies.

Pay Range and Benefits Information

The offered base pay range for this specific position (P6088389.c), in Redmond, WA, is $128,600 to $158,600 per year.

Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.

At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Benefits/perks listed may vary depending on the nature of employment with Microsoft and the country work location.
