MicroTransponder is Hiring a Director of Field Training and Market Development Near Dallas, TX

Director of Sales Training and Market Development position will drive strategic selling training leveraging best practices and tactics across the field organization. The responsibilities for the role include continually refreshing and enhancing the current sales training curriculum, as well as new training initiatives, experience with Multidisciplinary and Program Building selling models. This role will better prepare new hires, tenured sales personnel for consistent sales execution and growth. This position will also be responsible for starting new programs in unassigned territories in which we will add future TM's. Success is realized by building strong customer relationships, conducting initial consultative sales calls, following a proactively identified targeting plan, and advising physicians and healthcare members on the clinical use of MicroTransponder's Vivistim® system for Stroke. This position interacts extensively with other departments within the organization to maximize clinical excellence and ensure the complete satisfaction of our patients, physicians, and healthcare customers.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE Sales Training:
  • Drive continuous improvements in sales training curriculum and content.
  • Fully integrate strategic sales training curriculum and content into the MTI new field employee training program.
  • Lead all aspects of MTI new hire training program.
  • Work with Sales VP's to implement training initiatives, such as:
  • New technology launches.
  • Multidisciplinary selling.
  • Program Development selling.
  • Clinical selling considerations for PT/OT
  • Optimize alignment of sales training curriculum with current marketing tools, programs, and organizational goals.
  • Align sales and leadership development priorities with senior leadership.
  • Continuously assess and adapt training curriculum to the evolving needs of the field.
  • Lead all aspects of Learning Management System (LMS) needs, development, and implementation for field positions.
  • Manage all training records
  • Assist in developing Field Customer Initiatives including HCP Summits, HCP training events
Market Development:
  • Develop plan and strategies for developing key accounts, new HCP's and outpatient rehabilitation centers for future new territories in advance of TM's being hired. Essentially seeding new territories with 2 new sites that will be managed through VAC, Contracting and Onboarding.
  • Manages accounts in the assigned territory by preparing account plans for 2 accounts and proactive strategies for pursuing each HCP
  • Exceeds customer expectations and contributes to a high level of customer satisfaction while building strategic relationships
  • Prepares thorough and detailed product presentations for prospect accounts and physicians
  • Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provides feedback to company leadership
  • Manages customer relationships and provides leadership in closing the agreed upon strategic opportunities
  • Sets example by constant driver of sales excellence and possesses a "sense of urgency" in goal attainment
  • Demonstrates outstanding product, technical, and clinical expertise
  • Maintains company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company

RequirementsRequired:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • In-depth experience in the medical device industry with a background in extensive program building sales, sales training, and/or marketing.
  • Experience working cross functionally within an organization.
  • Experience launching new medical therapies.
  • High impact communication skills.
  • Proven record of working effectively with sales teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 70% required
Preferred:
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) strongly preferred.
