Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency is Hiring a Site Manager Near Big Rock, TN

The Site Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of all centers in his or her designated area.

SPECIFIC DUTIES OF THE JOB:

1. Plans, designs, monitors, manages, and evaluates the services delivery of all the Head Start and Early Head Start components in compliance with Head Start/Early Head Start regulations, licensing requirements, local operational plans and procedures and other applicable regulations.

2. Directs and supervises center staff, provides leadership, training, monitoring, and assistance necessary for satisfactory performance and the effective, efficient delivery of center services in compliance with program and personnel policies and procedures and other applicable regulations.

3. Manages, supervises, trains, and monitors the documentation, record-keeping, and reporting requirements for the component service areas and center operations.

4. Enters purchase requisitions for all center supplies and food; submits invoices and receipts for payment as directed.

5. Provides leadership and volunteer opportunities for parents and community.

6. Assists within classrooms as needed.

7. Assists with food service as needed.

8. Serves as an advocate for Head Start families when necessary.

9. Ensures effective communication and cooperation between center and community agencies.

10. Keep parents informed through letters, newsletters, home visits, and telephone calls.

11. Eats meals with the children, when possible.

12. Recruit children for the Head Start and Early Head Start Programs.

13. Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with local agencies and organizations, public officials, and local government.

14. Attend and participate in meetings, work groups, team meetings, committees, workshops, individual training and training conferences as assigned, which may include local, state, regional and national groups. This includes attending pre-service and in-service training.

15. Work to obtain volunteer and in-kind contributions for the Agency. Submit necessary documents as directed.

16. Comply with Mid-Cumberland Community Action Agency Policies and Procedures, all Head Start Performance Standards, and Mid-Cumberland Head Start Operations Manual, and other applicable Early Childhood Standards such as DHS Licensing Standards, CACFP, TN Department of Health, and NAEYC Accreditation Standards.

17. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,844.87 per year
