POSITION: Full-time Account Representative

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Serving members via telephone, walk-in and at special events. The Account Representative provides prompt, accurate, and courteous in person or telephone service to members while processing routine financial transactions, opening new accounts or processing loan applications and performs various Teller duties. Cross-sells credit union products and services, and makes referrals to a Loan Officer, to Mid Oregon Wealth Management, or to our Mortgage Lending area as needed and/or directed.

REQUIRED SKILLS: Pleasant, friendly demeanor; excellent customer service abilities in greeting members and making them feel comfortable; keyboarding including 10-key; accuracy in handling transactions and cash; ability to grasp a variety of tasks and perform them efficiently and quickly; ability to retain knowledge of CU products and services, and offer them to members when appropriate; PC-proficient in a Windows environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS: Attention to detail, strong time management, positive attitude, friendly, strong verbal and written skills.

STARTING SALARY: Minimum $18/hour, Based on experience

PROPOSED SCHEDULE: The work schedule is typically 8:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. Friday.
