POSITION : Remote Services Representative

Note : This is NOT a fully remote position - In person required in Bend, OR)

PRIMARY FUNCTION : Provides prompt, accurate, and courteous over-the-telephone service to members while processing routine financial transactions, researching issues, and answering questions.

Cross sells Mid Oregon products and services and makes referrals to a Loan Officer or to Mid Oregon Financial Services as needed and / or directed.

Assists members with opening and closing all types of share accounts including checking, IRAs and business accounts. Takes and reviews applications for consumer and business loans.

Interviews members, enters data on system, pulls credit reports, enters appropriate application notes, verifies that all required forms have been accurately completed and properly processed.

• REQUIRED SKILLS : Pleasant, friendly demeanor; excellent customer service abilities in greeting members and making them feel comfortable;
• keyboarding including 10-key; accuracy in handling transactions; ability to grasp a variety of tasks and perform them efficiently and quickly;
• ability to retain knowledge of CU products and services, and offer them to members when appropriate; PC-proficient in a Windows environment;

strong technological and digital channel skills

STARTING SALARY : Based on experience

PROPOSED SCHEDULE : The work schedule is typically 8 : 15 a.m. to 5 : 15 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9 : 15 a.m. to 6 : 15 p.

m. Friday. Hybrid option after 6 months if eligible.
